LEXINGTON, Ky. – Five members of the University of Pikeville football team were named to the 2025 Kentucky Collegiate All-Commonwealth Team. The team is presented by the Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The Kentucky Collegiate All-Commonwealth Team is a preseason recognition award and is comprised of members from 17 schools and universities across the Bluegrass State. The team represents the best college football players that compete in the state of Kentucky.
Those selected for the All-Commonwealth Team are chosen by their coaches for their ability to lead their teammates in the field and in the classroom. UPIKE football's 2025 Kentucky Collegiate All-Commonwealth Team members are
Brett Coleman,
Micah Lee,
Brandon Newton,
Jordan Williams, and Xavier Malone.
All five Bears will be seniors this fall. UPIKE is represented on this year's All-Commonwealth Team by:
- Coleman is a 6-2, 195 lb. defensive back from Belfry, Ky.
- Lee is a 6-4, 270 lb. offensive lineman from Louisville, Ky.
- Newton is a 6-0, 195 lb. wide receiver from Fairfield, Calif.
- Williams is a 5-10, 170 lb. wide receiver from Inland Empire, Calif.
- Malone is a 6-1, 195 lb. quarterback from Knoxville, Tenn.
