rd minute was all the University of Pikeville men's soccer team needed as it opened AAC play with a 1-0 win over Bryan (Tenn.) College on Saturday afternoon at Bob Amos Park.

While the score was close, most of the statistics weren't. UPike outshot the Lions 20-1 and the on-goal numbers were 9-1.

UPike improved to 2-2 on the season, 1-0 in the league. Bryan is now 0-3, 0-1.

Bruno Arenal off a pass from sophomore
Oliver Fausel.

The teams went to the break with no score. UPike had all four shots on goal, but freshmen Justus Feit turned them all away.

The Bears put five more shots on net in the second half. The Lions didn't have a shot on goal until the 81
st minute when freshman
Alejandro Iglesias turned away an attempt by freshman Dylan Moedano.

UPike will return to action on Wednesday when it travels to play Johnson (Tenn.) University. The match will begin at 7 p.m.
