Devario Dorsey

Devario Dorsey begins his first season as UPIKE football's run game coordinator and offensive line coach in 2021.

From Corinth, MS, Dorsey brings an extensive 10-year coaching resume and a successful collegiate playing career.
Dorsey only played one season of high school football, making good on the opportunity and earning himself a scholarship to play at East Mississippi Community College where he spent a season. Dorsey then went on to play at West Texas A&M University where he would earn his bachelor's degree. His collegiate career featured all-conference selections in the Mississippi JUCO league, Lone Star Conference, a Mississippi JUCO All-Star Game selection, and NCAA DII's Cactus Bowl. In 2005, Dorsey was named Boys & Girls Club of America's Member of the Year.

From 2009-2011 Dorsey served as a graduate assistant coach for running backs at West Texas A&M before moving on to Southern Arkansas where he coached for two seasons and earned a master's degree. Ahead of the 2013 season, he was named the offensive line coach at NJCAA Mississippi Delta before becoming the OL coach at Coahoma Community College in 2014 where he served two seasons.

In 2016, Dorsey was named the Running Backs and Tight Ends Coach at NCAA DIII East Texas Baptist and spent two seasons with the Tigers, serving as the OL coach in 2017. Dorsey then went on to his most recent stop, spending three seasons heading the offensive lineman at Kentucky Christian University.
