Justin Lamb is in his 16th season as a member of the UPIKE football program, spending the last 12 on the coaching staff after a Hall of Fame, four-year playing career at wide receiver for the Bears.

Lamb is a graduate of Breathitt County High School. He joined the Pikeville football team in 2005, helping it reach the NAIA Playoffs in his first season. At the time of his graduation in 2009, Lamb held UPIKE career records for receptions and receiving yards.

Lamb joined the coaching staff in 2009 with an emphasis on coaching the wide receivers. Currently he is the co-offensive coordinator, focusing primarily on the passing attack. Under his guidance, the Bears have posted their top-two passing seasons, averaging 276.5 yards through the air in 2011 and 272.5 in 2013.

Lamb earned the highest honor from his alma mater in 2014, being named to the UPIKE Athletics Hall of Fame for his success on the gridiron. In 2019, Lamb was inducted again as a member of the 2005-2006 football team.

Lamb resides in the Pikeville area with his wife Brittany. They are expecting their first child in February.
