Pavin Downs is in his first season as a special teams graduate assistant with the UPIKE football team heading into the 2018 season. 

Downs started 4 seasons as the Bears long snapper from 2014-2017. Where his consistent snapping led to the Bears' winning field goal, beating Georgetown for their first ever conference championship. 

A native of Russell, Ky., Downs attended Russell High School where he was a three sport athlete playing football, basketball, and baseball. Downs currently is pursuing his MBA in Business Healthcare here at the University of Pikeville.
