Will Cinelli begins his second season with UPIKE football in 2023. In his first season with the program, the UPIKE offense reached new heights, finishing the regular season as the NAIA leader in yards per game and passing yards per game. The Bears were second nationally in total offense. Cinelli also mentored RB Alex Sanders to AP 2nd Team All-American recognition in addition to his 1st Team All-Conference.
Cinelli also coordinates UPIKE’s community service initiatives.
Prior to UPIKE, Cinelli worked as the Offensive Coordinator at St. Augustine High School in San Diego, CA. During the 2019 season, Cinelli led the offense and served as the Director of Football Operations at Rockford University. He also coached the offensive line. In 2017, Cinelli was named Offensive Line Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at the University of St. Francis (IL), a position he held for two seasons. In each season, USF produced two 1st Team All-Conference offensive linemen.
Cinelli spent the 2016 season as a graduate assistant with NCAA DI Northern Illinois University. He worked primarily with video and recruiting operations in this role.
From 2014-2016, he worked with the University of St. Francis (IL) as the Special Teams Coordinator and Wide Receivers Coach. He worked as the Running Backs Coach with Montana Tech University during the 2013 campaign.
Cinelli started his coaching career at the University of St. Francis (IL) where he spent 4 seasons in a variety of different roles.
Cinelli holds a B.S. from Northwestern University and a Masters in Elementary Education from the University of St. Francis (IL).
