Colt Chapman

Colt Chapman enters his second season as a graduate assistant with the UPIKE men’s basketball team in 2017-18.

Chapman spent the previous four seasons playing for the Bears from 2012-2016, scoring 689 career points, along with 392 rebounds, 100 assists, 81 steals and 44 blocks. Chapman produced his best numbers as a senior, averaging 10.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game while shooting 61 percent from the field.

As of the end of the 2016-17 season, Chapman ranks second on the all-time wins list at UPIKE with 110, trailing only his former teammate Trey Rakes.

The Jackson, Ohio native and former standout at Jackson High School performs a variety of tasks for the Bears, from game and practice prep, travel schedules, as well as focusing on the development of the Bears’ post players.

Chapman earned his Bachelor’s degree from UPIKE in 2016 and is currently working on his Master’s.
