Herb McGee will be returning for his second season as a graduate assistant with the men’s basketball program. Last season, McGee helped mentor Malcolm Green and Korbin Spencer to MSC All-Conference honors.

McGee’s responsibilities include leading the men’s basketball JV program, player development, and academic monitoring.

Prior to UPIKE, McGee was a standout player at the University of South Alabama. During his time at South Alabama, he played four years of basketball along with extracurricular activities as a SAAC representative, SAAC Ambassador, and as a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.

McGee attended Riverside Academy High School in New Orleans, Louisiana.
