Randy Casey is entering his fourth season as an assistant coach with the UPIKE men’s basketball team in 2016-17.

Since joining the Bears’ staff, Casey has helped UPIKE to an 84-15 record, two Mid-South Conference Regular-Season Championships and an MSC Tournament title while working primarily with the post players.

Before coming to UPIKE, Casey spent nine seasons as the head boy’s basketball coach at Belfry High School, putting together a 150-101 record with nine straight 15th Region Tournament appearances and three 60th district titles.

A native of Matewan, W. Va., Casey attended Matewan High School before earning degrees at Emory and Henry College and an education degree at Morehead State.
