PIKEVILLE, Ky.  – The Pikeville College Baseball Alumni Weekend will be held on April 15-16 as the Bears entertain WVU Tech in the final weekend of the regular season.

The Bears would like the honor of having all former baseball players to come back for a weekend of baseball, reminiscing and taking batting practice.

On Friday the first pitch between the Bears and Tech is at 1:00. Following the games there will be a reception at former Bear pitcher Tommy Chamberlain's home and all alums are welcome. Food and refreshments will be provided.

On Saturday the baseball alums will have a great time taking batting practice starting at 10 a.m. and get the opportunity to meet and speak with the current Bears. The alums will also get the opportunity to go out on their position and stand during the national anthem.

“We are very excited about having the former baseball players being a part of the program again,” said Coach Robert Taylor, himself a former Bear catcher. “We hope they will all come back and enjoy a great weekend of baseball action.”
