Watch | Listen | Live Stats

PIKEVILLE, Ky. – After a nearly three-week break, the University of Pikeville men's basketball team is back in action at home this weekend, hosting Clearwater Christian (Fla.) at 6 p.m. ET on Friday and Alice Lloyd (Ky.) at 4 p.m. on Sunday at the East Ky. Expo Center.

Both games are being streamed live by Pike TV and can be heard on Z-Rock 107.5 FM. Live stats are also available through the NAIA DakStats site.

Despite the long layoff, UPIKE made moves in the latest NAIA Coaches' Top-25 Poll, jumping from seventh to No. 3. The Bears (7-1) won their last two games, topping St. Catharine (Ky.) and Campbellsville (Ky.) on the road in Mid-South Conference play.

Clearwater Christian (3-8) is a member of the NCCAA, but has played six games against NAIA teams, including an 88-60 loss at Warner University its last time out. The Cougars haven't won since Nov. 14, beating Piedmont International 84-50 led by Mike Key with 15 points.

The game also marks the return of the NAIA's top offensive rebounder in UPIKE's Chris Cantino. Averaging 6.5 offensive boards per game, Cantino leads the NAIA and is sixth in total rebounds at 11 per contest. As a team, the Bears are first in offensive rebounds per game (18) and fourth in scoring margin (+26.1).

Sunday's opponent, Alice Lloyd, is 5-4 overall with wins against Union (Ky.) and Kentucky Christian.
