PIPPA PASSES, Ky. -- Laci Vinson sent down a career-high six kills and Sydney Hall matched her with six as well to lead the University of Pikeville volleyball team to a 3-0 shutout win at Alice Lloyd on Tuesday.

UPIKE moves to 14-9 overall with the win, while the Eagles drop to 6-9. The two teams are set to meet again in Pikeville on Nov. 1.

Savanna Zakman put up big assist numbers in just three sets with 27 and Natalia Gascot led the defense with eight digs. Hall did her part too with a pair of solo blocks and one block assist.

Set scores went in favor of the Bears 25-19, 25-14 and 25-9.
