Logan Cline went 3 for 4 at the plate, but it wasn't enough to dampen the effect of three Lindsey Wilson home runs in the 9-1 loss.
Lyndsey Parden recorded the win for the Blue Raiders, allowing just one run in 6 2/3 innings. She struck out eight batters, walked three and gave up seven hits.
Six different Blue Raiders combined for 13 hits and nine RBIs, led by Cassie Kooker driving in four runs on two hits, including a double.
Amanda McIver homered first in the third inning, followed by Sydney Fourman in the sixth and Morgan Howard in the seventh. McIver did the most damage with a two-run shot, while Fourman and Howard both sent theirs over the fence as the leadoff.
Lindsay Floyd took the loss after allowing nine runs on 14 hits in seven innings with three strikeouts and two walks.
Lindsey Wilson took the lead for good in the second inning with a two-run double from Kooker. UPIKE scored its lone run on a sacrifice bunt from Breana Pineda in the final inning.

Alexandra Quill pitched well and UPIKE outhit the Blue Raiders 10-8 in game two, but a pair of walks and wild pitches, combined with a costly two-out error allowed Lindsey Wilson to grab a 3-0 lead in the first inning that it never lost.
Casey Bryan picked up the win in the circle after her defense stepped up, allowing just one run on 10 hits as she added four strikeouts and walked just one. Quill scattered eight hits for four runs, but only one was earned. Walks hurt her, issuing six, with three strikeouts.
Lindsey Wilson had runners on first and third with two outs in the opening frame when Bailey Mize's grounder to third was bobbled, allowing Kooker to score. Following a single to load the bases, another passed ball brought the second run home before Abbi Goedde's RBI single made it 3-0.
UPIKE answered back quickly in the bottom half as Jordan Gentry singled, then raced home on a Logan Cline double. But that was it for the Bears' offense as they only had two extra-base hits with Cline's double and Morgan adding another later on.
The Blue Raiders added one more run in the sixth on a sacrifice fly from Callum Pilgrim. Trailing 4-1, UPIKE ended the sixth by hitting into a double play and saw the seventh end as Amber Murrell's scorcher to left was tracked down for the final out.
