No. 9 Lindsey Wilson Tops Men’s Soccer 6-0

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- It took a little while to get going, but in the end, ninth-ranked Lindsey Wilson topped the University of Pikeville men's soccer team 6-0 on Saturday night.

Lindsey Wilson (8-2, 4-0 MSC) didn't get on the board until the 27th minute when Tyler Collishaw finished his unassisted goal into the back of the net. From there, the Blue Raiders added a goal from Andres Riquelme in the 39th minute to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.

In the final 45 minutes, Collishaw added two more goals to complete the hat trick, netting them in the 72nd and 84th minutes. The first goal of the second half came from Mutaya Mwape however in the 57th minute off a short cross from Collishaw, adding an assist to his big night.

Karim Jouini was Lindsey Wilson's other goal scorer in the 81st minute to make it 5-0 before Collishaw brough an end to the scoring three minutes later.

UPIKE (2-9-1, 0-4 MSC) was outshot 23-5 overall and 11-0 in shots put on target. Harry Hill and Max Isenberg paced the Bears with two shots each and Anibal Navarro collected four saves in a full 90 minutes in goal.

LWC's William Diaz completed the clean sheet in a complete-game performance as well. Collishaw led all players with nine shots, placing all but four on goal, and Mwape led the game in assists with two.

Lindsey Wilson posted a 3-0 advantage in corner kicks and had the most fouls as well at 10-6.
