PIKEVILLE, Ky. -- The University of Pikeville men's basketball team and its four-game winning streak head to Georgetown on Thursday to start the Mid-South Conference/Southern States Athletic Conference Challenge in which it will play three games in three days.

The 14th-ranked Bears are scheduled to open the event at 6 p.m. ET on Thursday against Brewton-Parker (Ga.), followed by an 8 p.m. start against Bethel (Tenn.) on Friday before finishing up with No. T25 Martin Methodist (Tenn.) at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

All nine games of the challenge will have live stats available on the NAIA DakStats site, but there will be no live video or audio.

Of the six teams at the event, three are ranked in the NAIA Coaches' Preseason Top-25 Poll, including No. 4 Georgetown, No. 14 UPIKE and No. T25 Martin Methodist.

Only Campbellsville is yet to start its season as the other five teams have played at least two games.

Georgetown has fared the best, winning its first five games in convincing fashion, including a 120-71 rout of OSU-Lima on Monday.

UPIKE and Bethel are the other two unblemished teams. The Bears have won their first four games by an average of 33.5 points, while the Wildcats blew past Mid-Atlantic Christian (N.C.) and OSU-Mansfield by 49 and 43 points, respectively in Pikeville last weekend.

Brewton-Parker enters the challenge with a 1-3 record after losing its first three games before eventually getting on the winning side against Virgin Islands on Saturday.

Martin Methodist is looking for its first win of the season after a pair of losses, including an 84-69 setback against Cumberland (Tenn.) on Saturday.
