PIKEVILLE, Ky. – In an afternoon that hopefully serves as a spark for the future, UPIKE women's basketball got its most dominant win of the season on Saturday by defeating Simmons College 101-45.
Pikeville outscored the Falcons 77-35 in the final three quarters to put away the Falcons with ease.
Six Bears scored in double-figures, led by Mary Englert and Sierra Feltner's 16 each.
Feltner's performance was extra special with a perfect 7-7 day from the floor with seven rebounds and three assists. Englert also had a great shooting performance as well, going 7-11 with six assists.
UPIKE also shot lights out as a team, going 41-77 from the floor through the game, and shot above 50 percent in all four quarters.
Brianna Burbrige picked up her first double-double of the season with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Bailey Frazier came up just short of her first career double-double with 15 points and eight rebounds off the bench.

UPIKE will now have a long two-week break from competition until they face Asbury at 2:00 p.m. on Nov. 30 at Appalachian Wireless Arena.
