UPIKE Baseball picked 9th in MSC Preseason Poll

PIKEVILLE, Ky. – UPIKE Baseball has been selected at the No. 9 spot in MSC Preseason Poll, falling 1pt behind No. 8 Lindsey Wilson.

Cumberlands picked up 93 points and received five of the 11 first-place votes in the poll. MSC newcomer Freed-Hardeman is slotted second in the poll with 89 points and four first-place votes.

Campbellsville (Ky.) earned 84 points in the poll and received one first-place vote. Georgetown (Ky.) finished fourth in the poll with 69 points.

Cumberland (Tenn.) is slotted fifth in the poll with 63 points and the final first-place vote. MSC newcomers Martin Methodist (Tenn.) and Bethel (Tenn.) are sixth and seventh in the poll with 56 and 52 points, respectively.

Shawnee State (Ohio) and Thomas More (Ky.) round out the poll with 19 and 18 points, respectively.

Coaches' were not allowed to vote for their own teams.
