Bowling Green, KY – Following a breakout performance over the weekend, sophomore women's bowler
Emily Tull has been named MSC Women's Bowler of the week. The weekly nod was announced by conference officials on Tuesday and is the third of Tull's career.
The Baltimore, MD native bowled a 951 on Saturday at the Lynne Jordan Memorial where the Bears would finish 4
th in the 21-team tournament. The next day, Tull bowled an impressive 1117 through five team games for an average of 223.4 pins per game. The excellent performance landed her third overall in the competition, and earned her All-Tournament Team distinction.
The Bears finished second in the 19-team event with a total of 7476, finishing the best out of all MSC institutions. Over the course of two tournaments, Tull averaged 206.8 and broke 200 in six of 10 games.
The Bears have taken two MSC weekly honors this season as Tull follows
Kristina Catoe who garnered the honor last week.
