BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The women's bowling team was covered with honors in the presentation of awards by the Mid-South Conference on Friday, including the bowler of the year and both coach of the year honors.

Six Bears were named all-conference, one was honored on the Champions of Character team and a league-leading 13 were named to the Academic All-Conference team.

Breanna Clemmer were named coaches of the year in their respective fields.
Â
They led the Bears to the MSC regular-season championship in their first season at the school. The Bears are currently ranked No. 8 in the country in the online ranking system.

The Bears were the winners of five tournaments this season, including the Tier One Bowlero Southern Collegiate Classic and finished no lower than eighth in any tournament this season

Senior
Brianna Rogers was named Bowler of the Year for the third consecutive season. The Cincinnati native was named to the league's first team for the fourth consecutive season.

Rogers earned bowler of the year honors after averaging 207.5 over the four conference regular-season tournaments. She was one of only four bowlers to average at least a score of 200 during the conference season.

She won three of the 10 tournaments in which she bowled this season and averaged 201.216 with a differential of 33.195.

Joining her on the first team were teammates
Haley Grabowski,
Victoria Hines and
Kaytlen Peck.
Â
Grabowski, a junior from Rochester, N.Y., was named first-team for the second time. For the season, she averaged 192.771 with one Top 5 tournament.

Hines is a senior from Louisville who was named all-conference for the third time. She averaged 200.029 and finished in the Top 5 in six of the nine events in which she participated.

Peck, a sophomore from Fort Lawn, S.C., was named to the all-conference team for the second time. A two-time bowler of the week, she averaged 205.805 with a tournament win and five Top 5 finishes.

Cierra Gabriel, a freshman from Rensselaer, N.Y., was named second-team all-conference. She averaged 185.2 this season.
Sasha Uchwal, a senior from Lawrenceburg, joined her on the second-team after averaging 193.286.

Taylor Sams represented the Bears on the Champion of Character team. A sophomore from Shelbyville, she was honored on the Champions of Character Team based on her leadership on and off campus, as well as her demonstration of the five core character values of the NAIA.

A total of 13 Bears were honored for their academic success. To be nominated for the academic all-conference team, by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and be in their third term or fourth quarter.

Madison Strouse, a junior from Marysville, Ohio.

In order to be eligible for conference honors, bowlers must bowl in 70 percent of conference games. All-conference team members bowled in at least 12 of the 16 regular-season games.
