Lukas Lehmann has been named MSC Bowler of the Week.
Lehmann led the Bears in the 42-team tournament, totaling 1951 pins through nine games and averaging 216.8. Lehmann finished sixth out of 315 bowlers, breaking 200 in eight of his nine games.
The senior's best game of the tournament came in the seventh where bowled a 246 before dropping 244 pins in his eighth game. Lehmann aided the Bears to their runner-up finish in team play before UPIKE would go on to sweep the single-elimination baker bracket, defeating St. Francis (Ill.) in the championship.
The award is the first of Lehmann's career and the second for the Bears this season.
