Kristina Catoe had an unprecedented resume already for a first-year student-athlete before today's NAIA announcement added Rookie of the Year, Player of the Year, and All-American to her list of accolades. Head coach
Bobby Brown also collected his second NAIA Coach of the Year distinction, adding that to the MSC Coach of the Year award he claimed just over a month ago after leading the program to its ninth straight conference championship.
Out of Mooresville, KY, Catoe is the latest in a long line of elite athletes to come through the program. She is the second straight NAIA Player of the Year for UPIKE (third overall) and the third NAIA Rookie of the Year in the team's history. Catoe piloted the Bears as they went 50-3 in MSC play, earning three individual titles along the way. The freshman has four all-tournament team selections, three individual titles, and capped the year with MSC First-Team and Freshman of the year honors.

Bobby Brown needs no introduction, as he is a household name at the conference, NAIA, and USBC levels. While at UPIKE, Brown has led the team to five MSC Regular Season titles, three MSC Tournament Titles, and three NAIA tournament wins. In five years with the Bears, Brown has earned the MSC Coach of the Year title four times, has coached six NCBCA All-Americans, and 10 NAIA All-Americans.
UPIKE women's bowling is currently northbound for Dayton, OH as they gear up for the USBC Sectionals.
