Pikeville, KY – Casey Wendall has announced her resignation as head swimming coach at UPIKE, effective May 5th. Wendall headed the program in its inaugural season.  

Wendall handled both the men's and women's teams and worked to build UPIKE Swimming from the ground up. Wendall departs in pursuit of new opportunities. 

"Casey broke ground during the infancy of our swimming program," said Director of Athletics Kelly Wells, "We wish her the absolute best in their next steps and thank her for her contributions." 

UPIKE Athletics is seeking a head swim coach to fill the vacancy immediately, this position will be in charge of both the men's and women's programs while working closely with Pikeville YMCA. All interested parties are encouraged to apply via jobs.upike.edu.
