Pikeville, KY – University of Pikeville Athletics, in partnership with SIDEARM Sports has unveiled a completely redesigned version of the official website of UPIKE Athletics (upikebears.com).
This new website takes a complete 360 in terms of design, echoing the department's recent re-brand with an updated color scheme and primary logos. The redesign provides new areas for promotion as well as opportunity for sponsorship while providing seamless navigation to the comprehensive coverage of UPIKE's 24 varsity sports.
A responsive and attractive slider takes front and center on the website's home page, showcasing the latest stories from UPIKE Athletics. Each sport's home page also features this beautifully designed system, displaying the recaps, accomplishment and latest news from within each program. This display also possesses the capability to play video within the page, which is an exciting addition as the department works to incorporate creative video content to promote the student-athletes.
Also featured on the main pages is a calendar system that displays upcoming events, complete with integrated links to follow the action.
"This redesign is another step in our growth and continued commitment to the support of our student-athletes," said Director of Athletics,
Kelly Wells, "The website serves as our home base and we couldn't be more excited about the final product. SIDEARM sports did an excellent job bringing our vision to life and a heartfelt thank you goes out to them as well as our sports information staff for making it happen."
