Pikeville, KY – In this installment of Welcome to Bear Nation we introduce an elite threat out of New Castle, KY – Trevor Hardin.

An incoming freshman, Hardin comes backed by an impressive high school career at Henry County High School, amassing 2096 career points which earned him the all-time scoring title. The 6'5", 205-pound wing/forward tandem pulled in an impressive 1119 rebounds in his career and holds the all-time leading rebounder title as well.

"We are excited to have the opportunity sign a player as accomplished as Trevor out of high school," said Head Coach Tigh Compton, "He has consistently proven to be one the best players in the Northern Kentucky area and has been very well coached, both in high school and AAU."

This past season, there was no shortage of accolades rolling in for the HCHS product as he was named Third-Team All-State by the Louisville Courier Journal and was the 8^th Region Player of the Year Runner-Up. In total, Hardin was a three-time all-region selection, and earned four 8^th Region and 31^st District All-Tournament Team nods.

"We think Trevor has a ton of upside and potential. He has a great work ethic that he is going to bring to campus. We are excited to watch his game grow and develop every day!"
