Bowling Green, Ky. - University of Pikeville junior Bryce Oliver has been named Mid-South Conference Men's Bowler of the Week today after finishing first at the Orange and Black Classic last weekend. 

Bryce Oliver led UPIKE to a first place finish at the Orange and Black Classic, the team's second tournament victory of the season. The tournament featured five team games that saw the junior from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio record scores of 183, 215, 245, 254, and 248 for a total of 1,145 pins. Oliver finished the tournament with an average score of 229 through five games. 

Today's announcement marks the second time this year Oliver has been named Mid-South Bowler of the Week and the third time in his career at UPIKE. 

Next up for the Bears is the Cincinnati Classic in Fairfield, Ohio on October 22nd and 23rd.
