Bowling Green, KY – On Friday afternoon, the Mid-South Conference announced their men's basketball All-Conference teams, and two Bears were honored. Korbin Spencer and Maurice Dickson were both named MSC Honorable Mention.

This is Spencer's second year in a row being named All-Conference after earning Second Team honors last season. He leads the team with 9.9 points per game and is second with 268 total points. He leads the way with 4.5 rebounds per game and 122 total rebounds. Spencer also leads with 78 assists and is third with 18 steals. Spencer scored a career-high 22 points earlier this season at Emory & Henry on Nov. 23.

In his first season with UPIKE, Dickson earns his first All MSC honor. He is tied for second on the team at 9.7 points per game and fourth with 262 points. He is second with 10 blocks, tied for fourth with 15 steals and fifth with 106 rebounds. He had a stretch earlier this season where he scored in double figures in five straight games including a season-high 23 against Freed-Hardeman on Jan. 31. During the game against the Lions, Dickson scored the first 11 points of the contest for the Bears.

After winning their opening round game against Campbellsville on Tuesday night in the UPIKE Gym, the Bears will be back in action tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 p.m. ET in the MSC Tournament Quarterfinals. They face the No. 1 seed Thomas More University, who they lost to earlier this season in Pikeville.
