Bowling Green, Ky – The Mid-South Conference announced their men's Outdoor Track and Field athletes of the week Monday afternoon, and UPIKE's Noah Thomas was named the Field Athlete of the Week.

After being named the MSC field athlete of the week twice during the indoor season, this is the first time during the outdoor season that Thomas is being named athlete of the week.

This weekend, Thomas finished the CIU Rams Invitational with the most points scored for UPIKE on the men's side with 22. He won the hammer throw by over four meters on Friday with a personal best 47.81m mark to score 10 points. On Saturday, he placed second in the discus throw with a toss of 43.78m to score eight points and finished fifth in the shot put with a mark of 12.91m to score four more points for the Bears.

The Bears return to action this weekend at the Montreat College Invitational in Montreat, NC where Thomas will look to continue his stellar season.
