ALLENDALE, Mich. -- Over the weekend a small group of the track and field team traveled to Grand Valley State University to compete one last time before nationals.

Junior
Zeke Hagley qualified in the discus with a mark of 50.56m. This also set a new school record in the event. This will be the second time in Hagley career to qualify in the disc. Early in the season, Hagley had already qualified in the hammer.Â

Also throwing was senior
Alex Rogers who put up a mark of 46.10m for a new personal record. Freshman
Matthew Edwards also set new personal records in the discus 43.69m and in the shot put 14.35m.

Zack Mason cleared 1.92m in the high jump for his best of the day.Â

Hagley will compete next Wednesday at 9 a.m. in the men's hammer and on Thursday at 2 p.m. in the men's discus at the NAIA Outdoor National Championship. That competition will be held at UNC-Asheville.Â
