Campbellsville, KY – The University of Pikeville softball team lost the first two games of their four-game series at Campbellsville University this afternoon, 17-0 and 25-1.
UPIKE struggled offensively all day, putting together six hits through the two contests. In game one, 
Carrie Boyd and 
Zoe Ingram got hits as they had a pair of runners in scoring position in the game.
In the second contest, 
Lillie Kluesner, 
Zoey Keeton, 
Mary Oxford, and Ingram all recorded hits, with Oxford hitting a triple. UPIKE had runners in scoring position in every inning but one. Their one run came in the fifth inning with two outs on an error by the center fielder, allowing Ingram to score after she singled earlier in the inning.
