Kansas City, MO – For the second consecutive season,
Kristina Catoe of UPIKE women's bowling has been named NAIA All-American. The sophomore claims the award in the midst if competing for a national championship with the Bears in Sterling Heights, Mich.
The reigning NAIA Rookie and Player of the Year continues to lead a storied career with the program, one that includes last year's MSC Freshman of the Year and five MSC weekly awards. Catoe has managed four all-tournament finishes this season alone, including an individual title at the Columbia 300.
Last season, Catoe was also named NCBCA Rookie of the Year, and IBMA Player of the Year runner-up. The Mooresville, Ky. native is the 21
st player in program history to be named NAIA All-American, and the sixth to win the distinction in back-to-back seasons.
Catoe currently averages 194.821 pins per game according to the USBC, and is ranked 33
rd in the country. The Bears also qualified for the USBC ITC National Championships in Addison, Ill. which is set to begin
