Bowling Green, KY – For the second week in a row, Noah Thomas has been named MSC Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week. Including the indoor season, this is his fourth athlete of the week honor of his sophomore season.

Thomas continued his great 2022 campaign this weekend at the Montreat College Invitational, with a pair of personal bests and top-five finishes in the discus and hammer throws.
In the discus, Thomas qualified for NAIA Outdoor Nationals for the second year in a row on Saturday, hitting a "B" standard with a toss of 47.69m and coming in fifth place in the meet with some strong competition. He broke his personal best in the hammer throw for the second weekend in a row on Friday, placing second with a mark of 50.90m. He scored all 12 points for UPIKE on the men's side.

The Bears will be back in action this weekend at the Landon Bond Invitational hosted by Berea College in Berea, KY.
