Crestview Hills, KY – The University of Pikeville men's tennis team dropped their match Saturday evening at Thomas More University, 5-2.
Juan Diego Alzate (6-3, 6-4) and
Martin Lorenzo (6-2, 6-3) picked up the Bears victories in No. 2 and No. 5 singles play. This is Alzate's 13th singles win this season and eighth in a row, while Lorenzo picks up his ninth singles win and sixth in a row.
Juan Diego Medina claimed the first set in his match at No. 4 singles, but ultimately dropped the match.
Medina and
Valentin Ortiz won their fifth doubles match as a team 6-4, but the Bears lost the doubles point.
