Columbus, OH – The University of Pikeville women's tennis team won their second match in two days on Wednesday afternoon at Capital University, 7-0. The Bears also swept the University of Saint Francis (Ind.) on Tuesday afternoon, and now have three 7-0 sweeps this season. The Bears lost just 12 games all match, won four matches without conceding a single game, and swept eight sets overall.
Andrea Hurtado and
Luisa Diaz won their team-leading sixth doubles match 8-0.
Gabriela Guacanes and
Sara Contreras won their second, 8-0.
Riley Mullins and
Camila Agudelo stayed undefeated as a team, winning their fourth match, 8-3.
Hurtado won her team-leading ninth singles match 6-2, 6-0. Guacanes, Diaz, and Contreras all won their seventh match of the season against the Comets. Agudelo won her fourth, 6-1, 6-1 while Mullins won her eighth 6-1, 6-0.
