Bowling Green, KY – The Mid-South Conference announced their 2022 softball All-Conference teams this morning and Bears sophomore Lillie Kluesner was named an Honorable Mention. She is the first player to be named on the All-Conference team since 2019 and is Kluesner's first career honor.

Kluesner had a few team-highs for the Bears during the regular season. She led the team in batting average (.318) and hits (42).

She was second on the team in runs scored (20), total bases (44), on-base percentage (.361), fielding assists (101), games started (46), and stolen bases (5). She hit two doubles and had 10 RBI.

Kluesner also threw 26 innings in the circle for UPIKE, winning one game and striking out six. She had 10 multi-hit games throughout the season and was the only Bear to walk more times than she struck out (10 walks, eight strikeouts).
