WALESKA, Ga. – The University of Pikeville men's soccer team struggled to get its offense going Wednesday afternoon in a 4-0 shutout at the hands of Reinhardt University.

The Bears managed only found shots on goal in the loss to the Eagles.

Reinhardt (8-2-4 overall, 6-2-1 in the AAC) got on the scoreboard twice in the first half. The first came only 1:18 into the contest when freshman forward Ian Brunet scored his first collegiate goal. Senior midfielder Rafael Paris followed in the 27
th minute. Like Brunet, it was his first tally of the season.

The teams went to the break at 2-0.

In the second half, Brunet contributed with the assist in the 67
th minute when he found senior midfielder Maxime Correia for the goal.

Scoring ended in the 79
th with Brunet again in the action, this time sending a pass to senior midfielder Andres Jorquera for the score.

For UPike, two of its shots on goal came from freshman
Ben Beltermann. The others were off the feet of graduate student
Coby Fields and freshman midfielder
Alex Ward.

Adam DiMillo recorded 10 saves in net for the Bears.

The Bears fell to 5-8-2 on the season and stand 2-6-2 in the league. They will be back in action on Friday afternoon when they visit St. Andrews (N.C.) University. That game is slated to begin at 1 p.m.
