Bowling Green, Ky. – UPIKE women's golf wrapped up their 2022-23 season after finishing seventh at the 2023 MSC Women's Championship. 

UPIKE's starting five were Renee Crooks, Carly Crooks, Sophie Beverly, Gabrielle Blankenship and Lauren Holmes. Renee Crooks finished the tournament tied for ninth place overall, with her best round coming in round one where she collected four birdies. Renee finished tied for fifth in pars with 32 and sixth in birdies with five over the three rounds.  

Each of the Bears' five golfers in this tournament recorded at least one birdie. Sophie Beverly and Gabrielle Blankenship had two each while Lauren Holmes and Carly Crooks both recorded one. 

Coach Nelson Scott's squad has had a successful 2022-23 campaign which they look to build on for 2023-24 as the Bears transition into the Appalachian Athletic Conference.
