KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The University of Pikeville men's soccer team rallied from a two-goal deficit to tie Johnson University 2-2 on Saturday afternoon.

UPike is now 2-3-1 on the season and 0-1-1 against AAC competition. Johnson is 0-4-1 overall, 0-2-1 in the league.

The Royals scored the only goal of the first half in the 29
th minute when Alberto Guerrero beat the keeper off a dish from Trey Whidden.

The remainder of the goals were unassisted in the match.

Johnson took a 2-0 lead in the 52
nd minute when Dylan Cornett scored.
Â
The Bears wouldn't settle, though, and drew within a goal six minutes later when junior
Anthony Aguilar scored his team-leading third goal of the season.

It appeared that would be the way it ended until
Daron Baumann tied it with a goal in the 88
th minute. The sophomore now has a pair of goals on the early season.

Jon Barragan recording three apiece.
