ALLENTOWN, Penn. – The University of Pikeville men's bowling program wrapped up 2024 with a win in the Lehigh Valley Collegiate Classic.

That came two days after a sixth-place finish in Keystone Quaker Roto Grip Classic.

The Bears finished atop the 21-team field in the Lehigh Valley Collegiate Classic with a score of 9,978, ahead of second-place Lawrence Tech (Mich.) which scored 9,797.

Junior
Eli Mayberry led the Bears with a five-game average of 226.8, which was good for second place among individuals in the field. The Mechanicsburg, Ohio, had a day which included back-to-back scores of 268-267.

He was joined in the Top 10 by sophomore
Josh Maslanich, who averaged 214 to finish eighth in the tournament. Freshman
Andrew Robitaille followed with a five-game average of 205.2.

Senior
Blake Hisle was also in the positives, averaging 200.2.

Earlier in the week, the Bears recorded a sixth-place finish in the Keystone Quaker. Indiana Tech finished first with a score of 9,373, followed by Lawrence Tech, which finished at 9,363.

UPike finished with a score of 9,175.

The top finisher in this tournament was graduate student
Bryce Oliver, who had a five-game average of 227.2 to finish ninth. Mayberry was excellent in this tournament as well, as his average of 224.4 placed him 13
th.

Maslanich recorded a Top 25 finish with an average of 216 to finish 22
nd.

Next up for the Bears is a weekend in Louisville, where they'll compete in the Lynne Jordan Memorial on Jan. 25 and the Thomas N. Burris Memorial on Jan. 26.
