PIKEVILLE, Ky. – Football season is only two weeks old, but some milestones have already been reached.
 
Chief among them is the receiving corps, where two seniors are putting their names in the record books. Here's a look:
 

• D'Andre Stafford is a 6-2, 169-pound senior from Opa Locka, Fla., and on Saturday, he matched a school record with 11 catches against Georgetown. It is a mark that has been reached four times in school history, including once by a teammate. Tailback Tyrese Christian caught that many at Georgetown last year. It was first reached by Axxel Rivas on Oct. 16, 2010, again against Georgetown. Jordan Amis also hauled in 11 against Union on the last game of the 2012 season

 

• Stafford and teammate Diego Soto became the 11^th and 12^th players all time to reach 1,000 career receiving yards on Saturday. Soto is a 5-11, 175-pound senior from Orange Park, Fla. Stafford now has 1,035 yards in the air, while Soto has covered 1,008

 

• Elsewhere, all hail the offensive line. Often an overlooked position, the Bears upfront have kept quarterback Lee Kirkland upright so far. The Bears have thrown 102 passes this season, and the line hasn't given up a single sack to this point

 

• On the defensive side, linebacker Chuck Moore has gotten it done. The 5-10, 210-pound junior from Huntsville, Ala., has 24 tackles through only two games, with 21 of them being solos. He also has a fumble recovery and a tackle for loss
