SMYRNA, Ga. – The 2025-26 Mid-South Conference season got started last weekend, and the UPike men's bowling team had a pair of Top 10 finishes.
 
On Saturday, the Bears competed in the Greater Nashville Open, where they finished second, while they posted a 10
th-place finish in Sunday's Brandon Burns Memorial.
 
UPike's score on Saturday was 5841, finishing behind only Cumberland (Tenn.) University, which rolled a 5918 among the 17 teams in the field.
 
Sophomore 
Andrew Robitaille made the all-tournament team, finishing third with a four-game average of 238 with a total pinfall of 952.
 
Freshman 
Quinn Tillman and junior 
Josh Maslanich joined him in the Top 10. Tillman was tied for sixth after averaging 225, while Maslanich finished eighth, averaging 221.
 
Sophomore 
Lucas Ellis finished 13
th, averaging 213.75. Senior 
Ryan Crawford was 25
th, averaging 208, while junior 
Ryan Marszalek was 27
th, averaging 207.25.
 
In Sunday's Brandon Burns Memorial, the Bears shot a tam score of 5558, placing them 10
th.
 
Senior 
Larry Iagulli led the way with an average of 227.5, placing him fifth in the field. Teammate 
Daniel Robertson, a sophomore, just missed a Top 10 finish with an average of 218.25.
 
Ellis was again solid, averaging 211.75 to tie for 19
th, while Marszalek was 21
st, averaging 211.5.
 
UPike will return to action on Saturday and Sunday, competing in the Tier One Bowlero Open in Marietta, Ga.
