KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – University of Pikeville men's and women's cross country wrapped up their seasons at the 2025 Appalachian Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships Friday.
Morgan Tuttle highlighted the women's team results by setting a new school record in the 6K. Tuttle ran a 28:28.58 and had the highest finish on the women's team.
Michelle Kemboi had the second fastest time with a 30:01.81 and
Jasmine Meade ran a 34:10.82.
Ali Cantrell ran a 36:49.83, and
Shelby Stump and
Ryleigh Absher ran a 37:03.32 and a 41:00.32, respectively.
Joshua Martinez had the fastest run time on the men's side, clocking a 27:37.43 and coming in 46
th place.
Kerepei Meshack finished six spots behind Martinez with a time of 28:07.69.
Bruce Coleman had the Bears' third-best time with a 31:06.94.
Carter Hamilton and
Jacob Hughes rounded out the men's team results with times of 36:37.46 and 40:34.20, respectively. As a team, the men's cross-country squad came in 13
th place.
