The University of Pikeville picked up a couple of mid-week wins on Tuesday, knocking off regional rival Alice Lloyd College 16-0 and 8-2 at Johnnie LeMaster Field.

The Bears are now 24-14 on the season and have won 10 of their last 13 games.

Alice Lloyd fell to 25-15 on the campaign.

UPike will return to AAC play on Friday when it visits Waleska, Ga., to play Reinhardt University for the first of a three-game series. Friday's game is set for a 3 p.m. first pitch.

Bears 16, Eagles 0: UPike scored three times in the second to take a 4-0 lead and tore it apart with eight in the fourth to pull out the win.

The Bears added five walks and five hit batsman to 12 hits in the win.
Riley Paulino had two hits, including a double to drive in four and score once.
Garren Gledhill had two doubles, two RBIs and scored twice.

Two other Bears had two hits each.
Joe Gagnon had an RBI and scored three times, while
Hayden Hollingsworth delivered two runs.

Samuel Brown had a double, scored three times and drove in two. Dominic DeCarlo picked up a hit, two RBIs and scored a run, while
Matthew Crum had a hit.

Noah Brooks had two RBIs and scored, while
Connor Moody scored a run.

Reed Sutton went the distance for the Bears, improving to 4-0. He threw a three-hit shutout while striking out six.

Bears 8, Eagles 2: UPike had nine hits and reached base three times on hit by pitches and five errors in the second-game win.

The big innings were a three-run second and a four-run sixth to build an 8-0 lead before the Eagles plated two in the seventh.

Three Bears had two hits each in the game. Brown had two more hits, one of them a triple, scored two more runs and drove one in. Gledhill added two hits and scored one, while
Tanner Morrow had two hits, scored and drove one in.

Easton Mould had a hit, an RBI and scored.
