WALESKA, Ga. – One day after winning the opener of the final AAC road series of the season, the University of Pikeville lost two games to Reinhardt University on Saturday.

The Eagles won by scores of 8-4 and 5-2.

UPike is now 25-16 on the season and 12-12 in the league. They'll return to action on Tuesday afternoon, visiting Midway at 3 p.m. for the final road game of the regular-season.

Reinhardt is now 20-25, 12-12 in the conference.

Eagles 8, Bears 4: The Eagles rallied from two deficits to score the final five runs and pull out a win to even the series.

UPike led 2-0 and 4-3 by the middle of the third, but Reinhardt tied it in the fourth before scoring single runs in the sixth and seventh before putting up two insurance runs in the eighth.

Shortstop Frances Subero hit a homer for the second straight day. Left fielder
Noah Brooks  tripled and drove in two, as second baseman
Easton Mould had a single, a double and scored twice.

Garren Gledhill had a single, a double and drove one in. Centerfielder
Riley Paulino had a hit and scored, while right fielder
Cole Fowler had three hits.

Kameron Brodeur (4-3) pitched the first six innings for the Bears, striking out five.
Dawson Schultz threw the final two.

Eagles 5, Bears 2: Reinhardt scored all it needed in the bottom of the first and held the Bears to three hits to sweep the doubleheader and win the series.

The Eagles took a 3-0 lead after one and broke even from there for the win.

UPike scored in the fourth when Brooks led off with a home run to left. In the sixth, Gledhill homered to right.

The only other hit was a double by first baseman
Joe Gagnon.

Shaye McTavish (2-5) threw the first four innings and got the decision, recording four strikeouts in the loss.
