LEBANON, Tenn. – The University of Pikeville women's soccer team was outshot 35-2 in a 7-0 loss at No. 13 Cumberland (Tenn.) on Friday afternoon at Lindsey Donnell Stadium.
Using a 19-1 advantage in shots on goal, the Bulldogs (9-1, 5-0 MSC) put up five goals in the first half before finishing off the contest with two more in the second. Shauna Gilpin paced Cumberland with two goals, while Taylor Nay finished with a game-high 11 shots with a goal and an assist.

Chelsea Schulte was forced to make 11 saves in over 89 minutes of action.
Emily Owen relieved her in goal at the end of the game.

Carmen Koster took the Bears' two shots, with Mendoza's being the only on frame. Bulldog keeper Lindsay Kitson completed the shutout with one save in 90 minutes.
While Kaitlin Phillips finished with just one goal for Cumberland in the 41st minute, she was busy orchestrating the offense all game, dishing out four assists.
The first score came in the 13th minute by Gilpin in a one-on-one situation with Schulte off a pass from Nay. Gilpin struck again six minutes later with a chip over a defender to put the ball in the back of the net from just six-yards out.
Savannah Keele's 28th-minute strike came off a corner kick and Olivia Chu made it 4-0 just seconds later off a missed shot from rebounded eight yards back. The final three goals came in the 41st, 52nd and 78th minutes.
Cumberland led the match in corner-kick attempts as well 6-0, while the Bears (5-5, 1-4 MSC) held a 7-3 foul advantage.
