WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. -- Cumberlands won all but one match against the University of Pikeville women's tennis team in Mid-South Conference action on Saturday.

The Bears claimed their lone win at the top seed where Macarena Acuna fought past Isabella Dale 6-3, 6-3.

Cumberlands was dominant in the remaining matches, winning seven sets by 6-0 scores. Third-seeded Thais Bezerra played the Patriots' Sydni Grimes to 6-3 in their first set and that was as close as the Bears would come to a win the rest of the day.

Acuna and Mounia Sami made a run at a doubles win before falling 8-3 to Dale and Marie Bozeman, while the other two doubles matches were shutout wins for Cumberlands.
