COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Third-ranked Lindsey Wilson lived up to its top-five billing on Friday, blanking the University of Pikeville women's tennis team 9-0 at the Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.

UPIKE won just one game in doubles play, losing 8-0 at the top seed, 8-1 at the No. 2 seed and 8-0 in the third-seeded match.

Top-seeded Macarena Acuna gave UPIKE its best chance at a win, losing 6-4, 6-4 against Henar Munoz, who is ranked 13th nationally in singles.

The loss brings an end to the regular season for the Bears who will move on to the Mid-South Conference Tournament on April 21-23 at Kereiakes Park in Bowling Green, Ky.
