BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – UPIKE women's basketball forward Brianna Burbridge added another honor to the mantle on Thursday when the junior was named on the All Mid-South Conference second team for the 2019-20 season.
Burbridge put together another outstanding season for the Bears, averaging 10.9 points and 7.6 rebounds per game, both of which were team highs.
Her 7.6 boards per game was the fifth highest in the conference, while her rate of 3.6 offensive rebounds per game was the best in the league and 11th nationally.
This was the second straight year that Burbridge was named to a conference team after earning First Team honors last season.
UPIKE women's basketball opens its postseason play at 4:00 p.m. ET on Friday with a first-round matchup against No. 4 seed Thomas More at Bowling Green High School.
