Bowling Green, KY - Vanessa Fuzie has been named MSC Bowler of Week following last week's 1232 pin performance at the Las Vegas Shootout. The tournament was the second of back to back tournaments at the South Point Hotel in Las Vegas.

Fuzie, a Vegas native, led all MSC bowlers in the Tier 1 competition with a seventh-place finish of over 200 bowlers. Through six games the sophomore averaged 205.33 pins per game.

Fuzie's best performance was a 234 pin finish in the fourth game of the day, breaking 200 pins in three of the six games. In the USBC rankings, Fuzie is currently 39^th of all individual bowlers with a season average of 191.419.

Fuzie earned the weekly award earlier this season after a runner-up performance at the Bowlero Southern Classic. In two seasons with the Bears, Fuzie has earned four total player of the week honors and this is the sixth for the Bears this season.
