Stamper Lands Fourth MSC Player of the Week Honor

Bowling Green, KY – The Mid-South Conference announced their Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday afternoon and UPIKE sophomore guard/forward Morgan Stamper was honored for the fourth time this season. This is the most times a Bear has ever been named MSC Player of the Week in program history.

Stamper had another pair of solid games for UPIKE this past week, starting with Tennessee Southern on Thursday evening. She scored 19 against the Firehawks with 14 rebounds. This included an impressive 11 offensive rebounds, which is a career-high. On Saturday against Life, she scored 11 points and grabbed another 14 rebounds. This gives her 13 double-doubles this season.

She leads the NAIA in offensive rebounds per game with 6.6 and is tied for the NAIA lead in total offensive rebounds with 119. She is also fourth in the NAIA with 12.4 rebounds per game and fifth in total rebounds with 224.

Stamper will look to continue her great play beginning this afternoon at 3:00 p.m. eastern at Lindsey Wilson College before the Bears travel to Georgetown College for a 6:00 p.m. game on Thursday. They conclude the week on Saturday afternoon at Campbellsville University with a 2:00 p.m. tip-off.
