Bowling Green, Ky. - Earlier this afternoon, the Mid-South Conference announced the MSC Academic All-Conference honors for men's cross country. The Champions of Character Team was also announced today. 

To be nominated for Academic All-Conference, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.25 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Student-athletes must be in their third term or fourth quarter. Nominations for the Champions of Character Team come from their coaches based on their leadership on campus, their community and their demonstration of the five core character values the NAIA embraces. 

Sophomore Syrus Ramsey earned MSC Academic All-Conference for the first time while Cade Watson was also nominated for the second time. Watson was also named on the Champions of Character Team. 

Cross country will be back in action this weekend for the MSC Tournament in Bowling Green, Ky.
